Questions, bug reports, or anything not working right — here's how to reach us and answers to what comes up most.
Open the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. This is permanent — it removes your profile and your follow relationships, and unlinks any catches you logged from your account. Catches you'd already shared publicly stay on the map as anonymous data; they just stop counting as yours.
To center the map on where you are and to tag catches with where they happened — that's what makes the heat map work. You can deny location access and still use the app; the map just falls back to a sample area instead of centering on you. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
When logging a catch, the Share to heat map toggle controls this. Off keeps it visible only to you in your own Journal; on shares it to the public map for everyone. You can also adjust the pin location before saving — drag it if you're logging a catch after the fact, like once you're back home.
Email us at the address above with what happened and, if you can, what device and iOS version you're on. Screenshots help a lot.
No. Your account, catch logging, journal, the full species ID guide, and following friends are free — not a trial. There's no paywall and no ads at this stage.
